About Illidan Missionaries
We are Illidan Missionaries. The best of what Thunderlord has to offer. As a guild we are devoted to being the top and as such expect every member to live up to that name. We are hard core raiders and thus exemplify the true meaning behind that phrase. Nothing less then perfection could explain the steps we take and never will we fall short in our goal. Unified much like a well oiled machine we work, paving the way that the rest may follow. Lead with us or follow behind us.
Joining Illidan Missionaries
In order to be considered for membership in Illidan Missionaries:
- You must be level 80.
- You must already have appropriate gear for our raiding.
- Your character must be your character. We're not interested in players who have purchased their account, traded for their account, or who share their account.
- You must be satisfied with your current class and role (ie tanking, healing, damage). Once you join the guild in a given role, you will be expected to stay in that role. Changes of main character or spec are occasionally approved for senior members.
- Our raid schedule must work for you. We raid up to 4 days a week (Currently Tuesday, Wednesday, and Sunday), from 7:30PM until 12:00AM server time (central). Although not all raids will last until 12:00AM and we won't always be raiding four nights a week, you must be willing to put in these hours when called upon. If you would miss more than one raid a week, don't bother applying.
- You need to have read over all our other guild documents on this site. Make sure you are comfortable with the way we operate.
- To begin the application process, read the sticky posts in our recruiting forum and follow the directions there. If you meet our standards and if everything goes well, you will be placed on Trial status, which normally lasts for a two weeks. Trials do receive attendance credit and have access to loot, but a few guild privileges (such as buying items from the guild bank or obtaining patterns) will still be unavailable to you as a Trial. At the end of the Trial period, you will either be promoted to Member, or removed from the guild if it is decided that you do not meet our standards.
